Keep going. Every step takes you a little farther and a little higher. Sometimes in the sun. Sometimes in the shade of a mountain. You can feel that one drop of sweat running down your back. One more turn and one more rise. Stop. Look up. As far as you can see, the rolling ridges of Great Smoky Mountains National Park spread out below you. An endless carpet of green, wrinkled and rounded, runs across #NorthCarolina and into #Tennessee. But the only state you're worried about is joy and the memory of this moment.
