At 5 months and 60 lbs, he is lots of puppy silliness.... but when he was caught a doing acrobatics on the foxes well, welllllll.... wowzers, her is showing how agile he actually can be!! He has started investigating how strong he is and challenging the boundaries of his world- from jumping, leaping, and well- balancing on this surface! . . Lucan is our Wolf Ambassador with the mission to help educate people about wolves, their importance in our ecosystem, and the need for their conservation. He does have just enough doggie in him to make him an amazing Ambassador and friendly. The combination of his DNA and his daily training with both David and Melissa is helping him grow into an amazing Ambassador. It is not without a lot of devoted time and energy AND most importantly skill. Working with a high content Wolfdog is not for the novice dog trainer. . Lucan is currently part of our private fox encounters at the center and generally makes appearances in the photoshoots.... he is still learning manners.... and his puppy brain can get in the way.... our next available private encounters is Oct 31!
