I chose these texture photos because they are quite the opposite for me. I find all of these be be quite evocative and beautiful, despite the fact that they are everyday scenes — water droplets on a windshield, a bug on a garden flower, dried raindrop rings in cracked mud, and dew on a spiderweb. Better yet, these photos were all taken in pretty “normal“ places — in a parking lot while waiting for the vet to see the cat (#1, which is a phone photo), in a family member’s backyard garden (#2), at the edge of a road just outside of a Colorado town (#3), and right off a popular walking trail near my home (#4).
