Not only for this weekend, it’s so much more than that, but a competition always highlights it’s for me. - LOOK at the environment @comptrain.co & my coach @benbergeron created for me & @colesager35 : The LIGHTS, the sounds, the cheers (MA has limits to how many people can come together right now so EVERY single person that came screamed their ass off!). During this strange year it truly felt like the traditional comp floor & I was able to FIND MYSELF AGAIN on it ✨🤩🌟🙌🏼 - In the corner of the room was a huge screen where all of my family + couple of my best friends were on zoom so I could see all of their faces. I got really emotional a couple times seeing them, I havn’t been able to go home to Iceland since january so I’ve really been missing them - but that only makes this all so much worth it & they are ALWAYS my biggest supporters no matter what. Seeing them on the screen holding their breaths or cheering me on was honestly just incredible. And the fact that I am so far away from home yet still have the greatest family + home right here in New England 🤍 - And then there are all my people who day in & day out are there for me. This has been QUITE the year to say the least, but you don’t grow without challenges right?! Thankful for my people who keep my spirits bright & light shining ✨☺️ AND SO EXCITED THAT WE GET 4 MORE WEEKS OF GAMES TRAINING & ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO FIGHT! 🔥❤️💥🐯 xxx - Also 1000000% worth a post for itself but @CROSSFITGAMES : It would have been really easy to cancel everything & push to next year like the majority of 2020 events in the world but they made the best out of the situation & created something incredible for us to train for & participate in.
