To kick-off the countdown, we're sharing “Event^2 For Jasper Johns” —a video created this past spring by Daniel Madoff and 70 former performers of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company to celebrate Johns on his 90th birthday. The dancers, each isolated during quarantine in the early weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic, joined together virtually to create this piece honoring the friendship and artistic collaboration of Johns and Cunningham.
