Photo by @JeffMauritzen / Kylemore Castle was built in County Galway, Ireland, in 1868 by Mitchell Henry. Now known as Kylemore Abbey, for the last century it has been home to the Benedictine nuns. Nowadays it’s also a very popular tourist attraction for those traveling Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
As photographers, we’re often rewarded for seeking out obscure vantage points for our subjects. In this instance, it was hard to beat the scene that greeted me right from the parking lot!
