The reason why one gets into any professional field is because we see something that attracts us, there is something that draws us in. Past fashion photographers inspired me when I started taking my own pictures. Those iconic images taken by Avedon or Penn stuck in my visual memory. When photographing this dress, I decided to make a reference to that period. I sought to portray that same moment of total elegance and show it as still present in a new generation.

La razón por la que uno entra en cualquier profesión es porque vemos algo que nos atrae, hay algo que nos atrapa. Los fotógrafos de moda del pasado me inspiraron mucho cuando comencé a tomar mis propias fotografías. Esas imágenes icónicas de Avedon o Penn se quedaron grabadas en mi memoria visual. Al fotografiar este vestido, decidí hacer una referencia a esa época. Busqué retratar ese mismo momento de total elegancia y mostrarlo todavía presente en una nueva generación.
