Do the Sopranos love Joe Biden? Michael Imperioli, known for his role as Christopher Moltisanti on the show, thinks so. Imperioli has recently taken to Instagram to radically alter the Sopranos canon by writing impassioned pro-Joe Biden fan fiction: “VOTE BIDEN: Joe Biden was a long time customer at Satriale’s and yes, he loves his Gabagool,” one caption read in a since-deleted post. Though fans will remember Tony Soprano as a man who supported the George W. Bush administration—and casually sprinkled racial epithets throughout the entire show—Imperioli has been using his reimaginings to inject some levity into this election season. “I just thought I’d try to have a sense of humor with it,” he tells V.F. “Taking these memes and the politics and just trying to say, ‘the Sopranos are woke now, and they’re campaigning for Biden.'"
