A little Behind The Scenes video from @monsterhuntermovie! This was an example of the sand cannons we were using for production. This scene takes place later in the movie, my character Natalie Artemis is hiding from the Black Diablos monster in the unused armored vehicle that me and my team abandoned earlier in the film. This sequence was a lot of fun to shoot as you’ll see! I had to hide upside down in the Humvee and they had a count down so we could time my exit and the sand exploding at the same time. It goes without saying that it took quite a few takes to get the timing perfect, so I had one of the crew film this on my camera because I thought it was so cool. This particular take was a really good one and I think it might actually be the one that ended up in the movie! We all ended up with sand down are backs, pants, in our eyes, hair, between our teeth and down our throats on a daily basis which was a bummer, but the end result is nothing less than totally believable (and it should be after all that!😂)So enjoy this little snippet of awesomeness! #monsterhuntermovie #monsterhunterworld #behindthescenes
