The world speaks of feminism, how women should be just as free and powerful as men with equal rights. Personally I don’t see or live with inequality in England; being a strong woman with a voice, self worth and confidence, thankfully I always have my voice heard and my needs met. I don’t attribute this to my gender, age or appearance but instead my inner acceptance, the ability to own my identity, to stand up for myself and assert dominance in my surroundings. Many people are shy, insecure or nervous in social situations, that doesn’t make them inferior or unequal as an entire gender, it isn’t something to stereotype or way to segregate the masses. Instead we should look inward and seek out the reasons behind these feelings we have, find ways to build self confidence and develop the ability to speak with conviction and listen intently to everyone around us regardless of gender.
