The well developed and muscular Cameroon giant slippery frog is a relative of the goliath frog - the largest known frog species in the world. Thanks to their powerful leg muscles, this amphibian has impressive jumping and swimming capabilities, and can even use its strength to overpower large prey like mice and rats. Because of their size,these frogs are harvested by humans for food, but there is ongoing work to ensure that the harvest continues to be sustainable.
