President Emmanuel Macron commissioned Anselm Kiefer and the French contemporary composer Pascal Dusapin to create works for the Panthéon, marking the first time since 1924 that such a command has been effectuated for the Parisian monument. For his part, Anselm Kiefer has created a selection of works, including a permanent installation of six vitrines and two monumental paintings, currently on loan.
