Ashley Jamesさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Ashley JamesInstagram)「I took myself for what will probably be my last pregnancy massage today at my favourite little place @cloudtwelveclub, and I realised it will probably be the last time I'm in a bikini with a bump (for a while anyway, who knows what the future holds!). 🤰🏼 It's weird because my body almost doesn't feel like it belongs to me anymore, and it's achey and uncomfortable, but I'm trying to appreciate every last moment with my bump. I definitely have a new found love and respect for my body, and I've loved watching and feeling it grow life. I hope I show it the same love and respect after birth too. 💖 With every change that's happening I've tried to give it a positive story. To the hair that's grown on my belly (like so much hair!), I tell myself it's to keep the baby warm. To the line that's grown down my belly (Linea Negra), I tell myself it's to guide the baby up to my boobs so they can feed. To my ever growing (and painful) boobs, I tell myself it's to prepare my baby's food. MAGICAL. To my ever growing bump... How could I hate you when you're housing my baby. You might give me sleepless nights, sore hips and pelvic pain, but you're carrying my baby boy who I get to feel kicking inside you. To my (faint) stretch marks appearing on my bum, I tell myself it's Mother Nature giving me a free tattoo to commemorate my body growing a baby. What a beautiful story, better than any of my other tattoos. I've tried to take so many photos of myself pregnant, as so many people say they regret not doing so. So if you're reading this and you haven't, get your phone out, get snapping, and start loving that body of yours. It's working MIRACLES.
