If you find yourself in the area, make sure to drop by and meet these gentle, furry beauties. The farm has so much going on, with an ever growing list of activities for visitors. You can take a farm tour, visit their shop, and even rent a room above the barn if you’d like to maximize your time with the alpacas. The property also has some wandering cats, a little pig named Daisy, and other furry friends to discover as you walk around. In these images you’ll see teens who work on the farm and are part of their 4-H program. These youngsters learn to raise the alpacas, train them for shows, and keep up with daily farm duties. One of the best parts of my visit was seeing the list of names on the wall: Fabulous, Enchanter, Glory, Beholder. Most of the animals live up to their names.
