Let’s set the crazy aside and talk goals for 2021! I mean apart from surviving the pandemic. That’s a given. A few of mine are the same as 2020 because I was not one of those people who got extra creative and productive in quarantine. I had that short burst of tiktok energy back in the Spring but there was too much showering involved to keep up with all the filming. 😂 My main goal for 2021 is to create something of value besides my blog and Instagram. I have mixed feelings about social media and don’t want it to be the entirety of my career. I’d really love to write a children’s book and get back to brainstorming some podcast ideas. We were in contract negotiations to start one back in March when all the shit hit the fan. And then in May, when the BLM protests started and I was listening to all podcasts from people of color, I felt like my voice was not really needed. So. Now I’m trying to figure out what concept or cohost would make it feel right other than the fact that I just want to do it. I welcome all ideas! Another thing I want to do is use my platform for more random acts of kindness. That one I have lots of ideas for and I’ll talk more about them soon! What do you want to do in 2021? If your answer is just make sure your kids don’t kill each other in lockdown, that’s cool too.
