She and her husband, who works in finance, were in search of a younger designer who thrives on collaboration with craftspeople when they came across Michael K. Chen (@mkcarchitecture). “We live in a city that is filled with artists and talent and creativity, and we wanted to harness that in our home,” she says. And Chen delivered exactly that. In the main bedroom, the custom bed is upholstered in a @jiunhoinc fabric, the 1950s Italian nightstands are from @nicholaskilner, and the bench is in a wool jacquard from @clarencehousetextiles. The sconce is by @gentnerdesign the custom silk shag rug is by @taipingcarpets, the wallcovering is by @phillipjeffriesltd, and the curtains are of a silk mohair by @hirotake_tex for @colonydesign.
