Born in Germany and raised in Puerto Rico in the 1960s, she moved to Great Britain in the 1970s and began creating work that explores British society.  🏡These images are from her 1979-81 series ‘Belgravia’ which she made while still a student in London. It’s made up of 26 black and white photographs each with a short text below them, often creating humour and irony in the relationship between the two elements. Belgravia, where Knorr’s mother lived, is still a cosmopolitan and rich neighbourhood in London near Harrods in Knightsbridge. I wouldn’t vote for any particular party but rather for a Leader.  6. Good Taste knows no Time, Period, no Georgraphy (sic), no Income. It can be found anytime and everywhere.  7.
