Skin-farming for Bishop looks like grippin sharp grabs on Flagstaff projies ✊🏼🔪 Pretty psyched to finally overcome a weird mental block on this one; I’ve punted the top multiple times over the years and still melted off 3X on the day I sent 😅 but I think getting a little stronger these past few months helped overcome the limiting mindset (annoyance, frustration, “I-should-have-sent-this-already”) that was holding me back.

I recently listened to a @thenuggetclimbing episode where @abrahamssonen talks about training your strengths (mine are fingers, pulling, power) while climbing your weaknesses (underclings and compression, the epitome of UCT into B’s B). I really felt that with this climb, maybe in part because of the feeling that my training has given me over the past few months.

Lately I’ve been reminding myself of my base training philosophies: consistency and intuition of effort, while also practicing letting go of control. Stoked for whatever comes in February 😌
