Slow Dance Right (aka Mandance) - @andyliu84 did this with a 360 campus through the pockets. I wasn’t into that beta and there were no other videos, so I tried every hand/foot/heel/match/cross combo until my own sequence emerged. There’s something so satisfying about learning what works for you. Giving beta, taking beta from other people, it’s all well and good but in the long run I think we become better climbers when we tap into our own creativity.

The next time you’re about to give beta, take a moment. Let them struggle 😉 Wait till that face of utter exasperation looks back at you like, “Well?? What have you got to say??” 😩😩 then really milk it, “Oh do you want some beta” 😏 because sometimes it’s helpful. But sometimes it’s equally as helpful to let people figure things out on their own.
