今日は、ハワイのお話しだよ❕
ハワイでは、2021年から化学物質が含まれる日焼け止めの販売を禁止する世界で初めての法律ができたの❕🐬

日焼け止めに含まれるオキシベンゾンとオクチノキサートという成分が海に流れてサンゴを白化させて死滅させてしまったり、アザラシのハワイアンモンクシールズが絶滅の危機になってしまったり、海のさまざまな生き物に悲しい影響を与えてしまっているんだよ。

例えば、実験によるとプール6個半の海水に、一滴の有害な成分が溶けるだけで、珊瑚の白化は進む事が実証されているの。

この成分は、3,500種類以上もの日焼け止めに含まれていると言われているよ。

ただし、日本ではオクチノキサートという名称で記載されることはあまりなくて、
『メトキシケイヒ酸エチルヘキシ
メトキシケイヒ酸オクチル
パラメトキシケイヒ酸2-エチルヘキシル』
という名称で表示されている事が多いよ。

この問題は、ハワイだけじゃなくて、きっと世界の海全部に共通することかもしれないね🙏

Oxybenzone and octinoxate in sunscreen are flowing into the sea, whitening coral and killing it, threatening the extinction of Hawaiian Monk seals, and having a sad effect on various creatures in the sea.

For example, experiments have shown that only a drop of harmful ingredients dissolves in six and a half pools of seawater, and coral whitens.

It is said that more than 3,500 kinds of sunscreen contain this ingredient.
However, in Japan, the name octinoxate is rarely used.
"Ethylhexyl methoxysilicate"
octyl methoxysilicate
2-ethylhexyl paramethoxysilicate'
It is often indicated by the name.
This problem may not only be common to Hawaii, but also to the ocean and seas globally 🙏
From now on, let's use sunscreen that is gentle to both people and the environment🌏🌷
