Here are 3 ways to spice up your restorative bridge with a few more tips below here! This is part one; stay tuned for part two with a slightly more involved restorative bridge set up coming next week! 🎉

1️⃣ try two blocks stacked at the lowest height to get deeper—only go here if you’re super comfortable at the one block level. I like this because the lowest level of the block is both the most stable and tends to be less “pointy” feeling or more comfy to rest on.

2️⃣ especially if it feels like you want somewhere deeper than one block but two flat blocks feels like too much, then try one block flipped to the medium height! Take your time here getting the block positioned right, especially since you have less block surface area to work with. (However many blocks and whatever level you’re working with, you want to feel VERY supported by the block or blocks you are using: the prop(s) should be right under your sacrum, or *lower* than your lower back, right under that big bone there!)

3️⃣ instead of blocks, try a bolster!! Especially if you are either very tight or just don’t like the feel of the block, you may love this one. Since you can’t do arms alongside your body for this version, I like goalpost arms!
