✨ We’re in an Era of excellent space exploration:

1: SDO Debuted its first images of the Sun in 2010, but this image is from 2023.
The Sun, colorized turquoise to highlight certain features, glowing against a black background.

2: You’ve gotta be Fearless to explore Venus with its crushing atmosphere!
Composite image of Venus, a gold & dark orange mottled globe against a black background.

3: Speak Now if you're as excited about this new image of the Crab Nebula as we are!
This composite image shows bright purple & magenta light at the center against a dark black background.

4: Seeing Red? So was the Spitzer Space Telescope in this image of the North America Nebula.
A mass of red clouds of gas & dust, forming a partial circle.

5: Voyager 1’s iconic Pale Blue Dot image was taken just after 1989 — on Valentine’s Day in 1990.
Light blue background, with a few vertical stripes of sun rays running vertically through the frame. Earth is a single, bright blue dot.

6: Our satellites’ view of electric lights on Earth have a Reputation for helping us track changes caused by weather and human activities.
The northeastern United States at night. Lights of human activity shine where there are cities, as bright white clumps.

7: In June 2020, Lover…sorry Lonar Lake in India turned light pink, potentially because of microscopic life in the water.
A small, nearly circular lake that shows up bright pink with a halo of bright green vegetation is visible.

8: The Moon shows up frequently in Folklore, and also in the view of spacecraft like Hubble!
Satellite image of the Moon, a gray globe that reaches to the edges of the image.

9: Saturn’s rings, seen here by Cassini, haven’t been here for Evermore — they likely formed between 10 and 100 million years ago.
A close-up image of Saturn's rings. The rings extend from the top of the image, curving out to the left, before disappearing into the bottom.

10: Webb’s view of the iconic Pillars of Creation show countless stars against the Midnight blues of space.
Layers of semi-opaque, rusty red gas & dust that start at the bottom left toward the top right, against a starry blue background.
