Stool 60 Anniversary Edition: Stool 60 Sleeping Beauty by Tsuyoshi Tane (only available in Japan)
Inspired by the concept of graceful aging, Stool 60 Sleeping Beauty explores ways to capture the patina of age and experience by burying raw birch sections in soils collected from different sites in Japan. Tsuyoshi Tane examined the effect each soil had on the untreated wood, which resulted in three different hues.
Stool 60 Sleeping Beauty comes in black, white and yellow and is only available at the Artek Tokyo store.
