Her first time seeing a DJ was at the age of 16 in the Parisian catacombs– since then, she has performed from nightclubs to the David-Lynch-deigned ‘El Silencio’ in Paris to the prestigious Petit Palais. She’s released several albums, EP’s, and singles over the years, and just recently was the first woman in history to win a César (a French Oscar) for her composing in ‘À Plein Temps,’ a category in which five women have ever been nominated. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On the moment that struck her love for making music, Irène says, “Nathan Fake’s Border Community label (from the UK) was a big influence on me.
