This is the deity Kushinadahime. She’s featured on an illuminated nebuta float that’s being created by Kitamura Shunichi for the legendary Nebuta Festival in Aomori. Kitamura’s inspiration is his wife Toshie. For 6 months they work together in a team of 30 to make 2 huge floats for this spectacular event.🏮🏮🏮
