５月８日（月）、マッコンビル陸軍参謀総長が来省し、森下陸幕長と懇談を行いました。懇談においては、陸上自衛隊と米陸軍との更なる連携強化の方向性について認識を共有するとともに、参謀総長からは、ＵＨ－６０ＪＡ航空事故に対する哀悼の意が伝えられました。また、インド太平洋地域の平和と安定に寄与するため、日米が連携して多国間による防衛協力を推進していくことで一致しました。#陸上自衛隊 #JGSDF #FOIP

On May 8 2023, GEN McConville, Chief of Staff of the Army made a visit to Camp Ichigaya to meet GEN Morishita, COS, JGSDF. During the meeting, both leadership shared the vision towards the more robust partnership between JGSDF and US Army and GEN McConville expressed his deep regret to the JSDF tragic accident of UH-60.
They also agreed that JPN-US alliance will further promote multinational defense cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region for its peace and stability.　#JGSDF #FOIP
