But anyway, got to spend some time in the sunshine today so thought this audio was perfect. I'm 1000x more confident with my postnatal body than I ever was in my 20s. A nice reminder that confidence really is a state of mind and not a body type. Here's some things that have helped my relationship with my body image over the years: ✨ Following women of different shapes and sizes online - it allows you to appreciate that sexiness and confidence comes in lots of sizes and is a nice reminder that beauty is not a one size fits all. ✨ Unfollowing anyone who makes you feel bad about yourself. The beauty of social media is you can curate your own feed. You might find different people triggering at various different chapters of your life - it's ok to mute or unfollow. ✨Don't let your mind bully your body. This one takes time but when you catch yourself being mean about yourself,just correct yourself and say something nice. ✨ Take the pressure off - you're not a bad feminist or whatever if you don't love your body. It's not a surprise - we grew up with magazines and diets and comments from other women. You don't have to love your body, but you can appreciate it. Am I missing anything that has helped you?
