古今東西を問わず人々を惹きつける日用品には、どんな特徴があるのでしょうか。おそらく多くの人が認めるその特徴とは、「美しくて機能的」であること。100年以上前に創業したメーカーが今もなお評価され続ける理由があるとすれば、このことと無縁ではない気がします。

明治後期からつづく日本の老舗メーカー 野田琺瑯。今回ご紹介するのは、その野田琺瑯から、4種類のサイズで展開するラウンドストッカーです。

Across time and cultures, what is it about everyday items that so captivates people? Many would agree that these items are both "beautiful and functional." When a manufacturer, founded over a century ago, continues to be admired today, it's hard to think that this isn't part of the reason.

Noda Vitreous Enamel, a venerable manufacturer that has been a part of Japan since the latter Meiji era. Today, I'd like to introduce their round stockers, which come in four different sizes.

Though it's a Japanese enamelware, my first encounter with it was in Taiwan. It was during a "home café workshop" we hosted at a local kitchen studio.
