We watched it this week and LOVED it, totally see the resemblance, but I have to say, I am so glad Mazzy did not have nearly as high expectations as Stacey for her big day. At the time, I complained that Mazzy wasn’t giving me enough input and was too apathetic about it, but OMG it would have been SO MUCH WORSE if she had been dreaming of this crazy over the top blowout with every detail mapped out since kindergarten and Dua Lipa performing 😂😅 Thank you Mazzy for the low expectations! Also, knowing what we paid for Mazzy’s party, which was nowhere near as grand as what they showed in the movie, I’m going to guess they blew the whole movie budget on those party scenes! I still have a post half written about all Mazzy’s party details and the professional photos that I never published, because I found the whole experience so emotionally overwhelming and there was too much to share at the time.
