The North American #coyote is one of my favorites, these clever predators are adaptable survivors, with the ability to hunt solo or in packs quite effectively. I photographed this subadult here in @rockynps yesterday evening as it was roaming through the sage fields with a small pack. The others were too obscured in the tall grass to get a clean frame of, but managed to snap off a few with this one here in a brief clearing.
