I jumped on a beach rope swing and had to pause and make sure I was actually enjoying the sensation of swinging rather than being focussed getting a good picture of me doing it.. becoming aware of this has made me want to put my phone down and just be here. In fact the phone right now feels rather overwhelming… So I decided to leave my phone at home when I took Demz to the beach yesterday. And had the most beautiful day with her playing in the sand and getting knocked over by the huuuuge post storm waves we have on the island right now 🌊 … As we went back to that same rope swing to play I loved the idea of a picture not being an option. We just did it for the fun. And you know what ? The beautiful coincidence was that somebody watched us laughing and having so much fun that SHE took a picture and sent it to me through instagram ( thanks @riannekneppers ❤️ ! ) Talk about full circle .. The message to me here is that no matter how hard it seems. Following your heart is never the wrong choice. You don’t lose anything by letting go of what is no longer truthful to who you are today.
