Today in 2014, Love & Mercy debuted at the Toronto Film Festival. Directed by Bill Pohlad, the film takes on Brian’s struggles with mental health during the 1960s and 1980s. Paul Dano and John Cusack played the young and middle-aged Brian, with Elizabeth Banks as Brian’s wife Melinda. Paul Giamatti also starred as Brian’s psychologist, Dr. Eugene Landy. Brian called the film “very factual.” What did you think of the movie?
