They worked in a multi-agency resource center, assembling disaster relief kits with things like tarps, garbage bags and cleaning supplies for local residents to use while cleaning up their property. Sister Hatch spent so much time on her feet that her shoes started to fall apart! A Red Cross volunteer noticed her shoes and drove down the street to buy her a replacement.
