愛知県一宮市の小さな工場で施される染色には、日本の伝統的な遊びから、折り紙染めという名前がつけられました。その名の通り、職人の手によって一枚ずつ折り畳んでから染色するニットには、力強くも柔らかい、遊び心に満ちた模様が浮かび上がります。

In a small factory in Ichinomiya City of Aichi Prefecture, the dyeing process is called origami dyeing, named after the traditional Japanese game. As the name suggests, craftsmen hand-fold the knit and are dyed one by one, creating a powerful yet gentle and playful pattern.
