@cncpts' creative director @deonpoint has hinted a potential rerelease of one of its most popular @newbalance collaborations to date — the Made in U.S. 998 “C-Note.”⁠

Originally released in 2013, the pair takes its inspiration from the $100 bill overhaul that was introduced the same year. Its upper showcases neutral tones reminiscent of the bill's paper, along with a blue strip at the toe, mirroring the iconic redesign. Minimal bronze accents are also incorporated, symbolizing the Liberty Bell featured on the note.⁠

With partnership now being a decade old, Point teased the sneaker with the headline “Old Money,” leading to speculation that a re-issue might be in the works. Other factors that lend to this likelihood include the fact that the 998 is coming up on its 30th anniversary. However, it’s also possible that if there is a rerelease, it will visit the updated model revealed by @teddysantis earlier this year, rather than the OG silhouette.⁠
