テート・ギャラリーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (テート・ギャラリーInstagram)「Drum roll please 🥁 We have some exciting news for fans of #TateModern’s subterranean Tanks! ✨ We’re pleased to announce that the Tanks will become home to the Infinities Commission—a new yearly, free commission supporting experimental and visionary new artwork. Each year, a panel of experts will select an artist to create a major new work to be unveiled the following spring. The Infinity Commission will provide a vital platform for artists at critical points in their careers, from across the world at the cutting-edge of contemporary art. 🏭 Now a space dedicated to performance, film and installation, the Tanks were previously used to store oil when the gallery was a power station. No longer generating electricity, the Tanks are now a space to generate ideas, creative energy and new possibilities for artists and audiences. These raw, industrial spaces will be taken over by the first #InfinitiesCommission artist in spring 2025!
