[ENG]🇬🇧 Fuchu promotes the development of an environment where all our citizens can become familiar with different kinds of sports, to create a healthy and energetic "Sports Town Fuchu"!
On October 8, a one-hour "YOGA FOR MOM AND KIDS" was held at Kyodo-no-mori General Gymnasium with several moms and their elementary school children (grades 1-3).
It was a yoga event project that the Fuchu City Hall organized for its citizens to give women who could not continue sports due to changes in their life such as childbirth and childcare as an opportunity to start sports again.
Children were happily copying their mom’s yoga poses while slowly breathing in and out.
The instructor was Rio Matsumoto, one of Musashi Province Fuchu Ambassadors.

“Fuchu Ambassadors” were first appointed to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the enforcement of the city system in Fuchu, and this time we would like to introduce one of the ambassadors, Rio Matsumoto.
Rio Matsumoto comes from Fuchu. She went to Elementary School No.6 and Junior High School No. 5 in Fuchu.
As a talented actress, she has steadily built up her fame and broaden her skills, and now she is widely active as both, an actress and yoga instructor.

府中市では、「スポーツタウン府中」の発展による健康で元気なまちづくりを目指し、市民誰もがスポーツに親しむことができる環境の整備を進めています。
10月8日、府中にある郷土の森総合体育館に、府中市民のママ・小学1~3年生で1時間の「YOGA FOR MOM AND KIDS」が行われました。
今年から始まりました「松本莉緒のYoga for Mom and Kids」
1回目は5~6歳の子ども達。
2回目は小学低学年の子ども達。
そして今回第3回目は小学4~6年生のみんなを対象にヨガを実施させて頂きました。
3回共に、地元府中市民の方々限定で、府中市文化スポーツ部スポーツタウン推進課の皆さまのサポートの元開催致しました。
出産や育児などのライフステージの変化により、スポーツを継続できなかった女性へ再びスポーツを始めるきっかけとなるよう市民の皆様と共に取り組むヨガイベントプロジェクトでした。
ママと同じ動きやヨガゲームをしながらコミュニケーショ ンをとり、親子で一緒に身体を楽しく動かしながら呼吸の大切さも伝えました。
講師は武蔵国府中大使の松本莉緒先生でした。

府中大使は、市制施行60周年を記念して創設されたもので、今回は大使の1人である松本莉緒さんをご紹介します。
府中市出身の松本莉緒さんは、第6小学校と第5中学校のOG
実力派女優として着実に名声と実力を積み重ね、現在は、女優、ヨガインストラクターとして幅広くご活躍されています。
