Oh Mars? Yeah, he’s a friend of ours!

What gave it away? His love of Brooklyn, the New York Knicks, or Air Jordans?

This floral installation created by Mr. Flower Fantastic (@mrflowerfantastic), pays homage to Spike Lee’s character, Mars Blackmon from “She’s Gotta Have It.” In Lee’s first feature-length film released in the summer of 1986, his character wears a gold MARS medallion.
