I imagine sensorial geometries around the body when I design, like a micro-dance of movement all around your skin.
Synesthesia, altered states of consciousness, lucid dreaming and hypnosis are reoccurring influences in my design process.
One room in the ‘Sculpting the Senses’ retrospective at Musee des Arts Decoratifs is dedicated to this and blurring the boundaries of perception.

Moving along with the motion of the body, the silhouettes are made from kinetic textiles, forming the skin into delicate landscapes that entwine the illusory nature of perceptivity.
