テート・ギャラリーさんのインスタグラム動画 - (テート・ギャラリーInstagram)「#GetToKnow American artist Lorna Simpson. ⚡ In ‘Five Day Forecast’ we are presented with a kind of photographic anti-portrait, we don’t see the subject’s expression instead we see a Black woman with arms crossed and cropped at the torso with each weekday predicting a monotonous forecast. 📷 Simpson often combines text with photography to examine representation, identity, gender, race and memory within contemporary America. Look closely and you will notice subtle variances in the subject’s posture, suggesting the artist has used a time-lapse method in her black and white photography.
