🌊 Just as the sea finds stillness after every storm, here are 3 ways I find groundedness, especially during challenging times:
1️⃣ Sounds obvious, but it’s a reminder we all need in the modern world… to #GTFOutside. The goal is to to completely immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and sensations around you. This simple connection with nature can set such a positive tone for the day.
2️⃣ I challenge myself to try something new. Embracing novelty and charting new territory on a consistent basis makes it far less daunting when uncertainty and change arises in other aspects of life.
3️⃣ I do some breathwork. It doesn’t take long, but it has a lasting impact. My advice? Find a quiet spot. Close your eyes and take slow, deep breaths. For every exhale, imagine letting go of any tension and worries, one by one.
This mini-meditation always leaves me feeling more connected to myself and what really matters.
