Entry gate to Menwith Hill, said to be the largest US-run spy base in the UK. I was questioned by polite British security men while taking pictures outside the gate, and took the precaution of warning them before making a helicopter flight around their perimeter the next morning. I didn't ask permission, just informed them of my presence so as to avoid any possible misunderstanding. The NSA employees coming and going really didn't like me photographing their cars passing through the gate, which I found a bit curious… the watchers don't like being watched.
