Photo by @pablocorralvega at #Yasuni National Park in #Ecuador. The long exposure that allows us to see the stars also shows artificial light in an area too remote to have any. I was told that new roads were being built in the area and that the construction was the probable source of the light. The plan to keep oil underground was abandoned yesterday by president Correa and oil drilling will start soon inside the park. Were roads being built in preparation of the drilling? @ナショナルジオグラフィック @thephotosociety
