#PipeMasters Trophy, 2008 Model. Saturday is shaping up to be the day to hand this thing out and finish the @asp tour for the year. This is my favorite trophy. Each year it's an old #ClarkFoam blank, shaped by #GerryLopez, then painted by @philrobertsart using a photo taken by one of the legendary photogs like #JeffDivine or @brianbielmann. There's a lot of history in this prize and there is no event we surfers would rather win on tour (The Eddie might be the only more prized win). It's been years since we've had classic #Pipeline for the contest and since a goofy-footer has won it. @rob_machado was the last in classic 8-10' surf in 2000.
