The Edinburgh Fringe is on at the moment so the Royal Mile is clogged with street performers. These guys who call themselves the Lock-in Cabaret were doing an act that called for a toy stuffed animal (raccoon?) to fly through a hoop and over fire. Great fun. More than 50,000 performances during the Fringe in August. Guilded fountains with a castle towering above on a volcanic crag are part of what sets Edinburgh apart.
