Photo by @tylermetcalfe // I spent a good ten minutes watching and gradually approaching this great blue heron on the beaches of Santa Cruz Island. Like much of the wildlife in the Galapagos, this bird was undisturbed by my presence and allowed me to approach to within 15 feet before showing even the slightest signs of agitation. All the while, the sun continued to drop and gifted me with a window of beautiful golden light. #ngexpeditions #galapagos
