For the last four years, a loose group of Magnum photographers has been collaborating on a project called "Postcards from America". The goal: To play like a photographic band, creating a “polyphonic visual sound.” For the next few weeks, #JimGoldberg, #AlessandraSanguinetti, #MarkPower, and #MoisesSaman will be in the region of California's "Inland Empire", and we'll be posting some of that work here on Instagram with the hashtag #PostcardsFromAmerica -- think of these images as the early jam session versions of what will eventually become a studio album. ALSO, we've partnered with our friends over at @CaliforniaSunday, who will be offering up their own exclusive peek into this most recent installment of #PostcardsFromAmerica. The project's culminating exhibition, showcasing what many are calling the most important body of American group work since the FSA, will open at @Pier24Photography in San Francisco in Fall 2016...Photo by Mark Power/Magnum Photos.
