Twenty five years ago on my first trip to China I ended up in this carpet factory in Khotan on the Silk Road sharing laughter with this Uyghur woman, who found me immensely humorous. This picture wasn't published (mores the pity) so I wanted to give her a chance to be seen and offer her my thanks for a happy moment.
