This beautiful church in Southern Italy was abandoned after a series of earthquakes and landslides in the 1990s. @TEDFellow and photographer Jorge Mañes Rubio documents these forgotten villages as a way to pay homage to a culture that has all but vanished. He hopes to replace many of the icons and artworks stolen from churches like this one with new pieces to give a fresh spin on local lore.
