Thanks to everyone who has asked if we are okay after today's explosion in the East Village of Manhattan. It is very close to where we live but we are out of town and we are fine. I'm hoping everyone injured pulls through and we hear about no new casualties. I'm also very saddened to hear about the loss of Pommes Frites which was a little Belgian Fry shop that has been there as long as I have. Lots of love to the firefighters and the people from the neighborhood who climbed the building to get the occupants to safety. Say what you will about New Yorkers but they do pretty heroic things in times of need. My thoughts are with all the people and businesses directly affected by this horrible fire. #stmarkschurch #eastvillage
